As exiles learn to trust God amid opposition, we are drawn to the greater hope found in Christ, whose kingdom cannot be shaken. Join us as we explore how this hope shapes faithful living in uncertain times. The Life of Abraham Wednesdays from 12 to 1 p.m., beginning January 21 at PPC * Lunch is provided. Led by Nate Libby (nate.libby@providencedallas.com) This spring we will consider the life of Abraham. As Ian Duguid notes, Abraham is the man of faith in the Old Testament—one who lived in the tension between God’s promises and present reality. In Genesis we see both his faith and his failures, and we are encouraged to trust the same faithful God. Join us Wednesdays at lunch as we study Abraham’s life and look to the greater Abraham, our Lord Jesus Christ, in whom all God’s promises are fulfilled.
